Official Umbro England long sleeved goalkeeper football shirt from the 1986/87 international season. Complete with padded forearms on the sleeves and #1 on the back of the shirt in original flock numbering.

The condition of this original football jersey is 7/10 - Good. A dot mark on the side of the chest. Light wear to the embroidered manufacturer logo on the upper chest. Three small line pulls under the hem of the collar. A small section of loose stitching on the upper chest, under the lapel of the collar (see photos).

England failed in qualification for theĀ 1974, leading to Ramsey's dismissal, andĀ 1978Ā FIFA World Cups. UnderĀ Ron Greenwood, they managed to qualify for theĀ 1982 FIFA World CupĀ in Spain (the first time competitively since 1962); despite not losing a game, they were eliminated in the second group stage.

The team underĀ Bobby RobsonĀ fared better as England reached the quarter-finals of theĀ 1986 FIFA World Cup, losing 2–1 toĀ ArgentinaĀ in a game made famous by two goals byĀ MaradonaĀ for very contrasting reasons, before losing every match inĀ UEFA Euro 1988.
