Official Umbro Scotland home football shirt from the 1994/95 international season.

The condition of this vintage football jersey is 9/10 - Superb. A couple of tiny faint bobbles on the upper chest (see photos).

By a narrow margin, Scotland qualified for theĀ UEFA European ChampionshipĀ for the first time inĀ 1992.Ā A 1–0 defeat byĀ RomaniaĀ away from home left qualification dependent upon other results, but a 1–1 draw betweenĀ BulgariaĀ and Romania in the final group match saw Scotland squeeze through.Ā Despite playing well in matches against the Netherlands and Germany and a fine win against theĀ CIS, the team was knocked out at the group stage.Ā

Scotland failed to qualify, however, for theĀ 1994 FIFA World Cup. The team finished fourth in theirĀ qualifying groupĀ behindĀ Italy,Ā SwitzerlandĀ and Portugal. When it became clear that Scotland could not qualify,Ā Andy RoxburghĀ resigned from his position as team manager.
