The condition of this original football jersey is 9/10 ā SuperbĀ (see photos).

Pearce was appointedĀ caretakerĀ player-managerĀ of Forest in December 1996, after Clark resigned with Forest bottom of the Premier League. His first game was at home toĀ Arsenal. He admitted in an interview withĀ Match of the Day, that in his first attempt at picking a starting eleven, he did not realise until it was pointed out to him by his wife that he had omittedĀ goalkeeperĀ Mark Crossley.
However Forest won the game 2ā1, coming from behind after anĀ Ian WrightĀ goal with 2 goals fromĀ Alf-Inge HĆ„land.Ā Despite winningĀ manager of the monthĀ in January 1997, the club were relegated from the Premier League. He had relinquished managerial duties in March 1997 on the appointment ofĀ Dave Bassett.
He opted to leave the club at the end of theĀ 1996ā97Ā season after twelve years at the City Ground.
