A bright era dawned when broadcastersĀ Canal+Ā took over in 1991. Although just one more Ligue 1 crown was added in the following decade, PSG's crowning glory came with triumph in theĀ 1996 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final,Ā Bruno N'GottyĀ hitting the only goal asĀ Rapid ViennaĀ were defeated 1-0.
