Essentially the same design template as the club wore in the previous 2003/03 season, this 04/05 version features the 120 year anniversary motif on the lower front of the garment.
The condition of this original football jersey is 9/10 - SuperbĀ (see photos).
Micky AdamsĀ had guided Leicester back to the Premiership at the first attempt, despite the club spending part of their Division One campaign in receivership before a takeover safeguarded their future. Ultimately, Leicester were relegated in a 2-2 draw at Charlton Athletic, which left them eight points adrift ofĀ Manchester CityĀ with two games remaining.
It was a traumatic end to a season which had seen the club plagued with crises on and off the field, including theĀ La MangaĀ controversy when playersĀ Keith Gillespie,Ā Frank SinclairĀ andĀ Paul DickovĀ were accused ofĀ sexual assaultĀ following an alleged incident at a hotel inĀ SpainĀ (all charges were finally dropped).
