Giggs'sĀ participation in the victory overĀ LiverpoolĀ in September 2004 made him the third player to play 600 games for United, alongsideĀ Sir Bobby CharltonĀ andĀ Bill Foulkes. He was inducted into theĀ English Football Hall of FameĀ in 2005 in recognition of his contribution to the English game.
In 2005, Giggs's form had improved and was no longer suffering with the hamstring injuries which had plagued his career,Ā which he attributed to taking up yoga.
