The condition of this original football jersey is 8/10 - Excellent. A few small dot marks near the manufacture logo on the upper chest (see photos).


In 2003, the Portuguese Football Federation hiredĀ Luiz Felipe Scolari, the formerĀ BrazilianĀ head coach who had led theĀ Brazil national football teamĀ to win theĀ 2002 FIFA World Cup. Scolari led Portugal to the final ofĀ UEFA Euro 2004, where they lost toĀ Greece, and to their second World Cup semi-final in theĀ 2006 World Cup.

Scolari left after theĀ UEFA Euro 2008Ā and was replaced byĀ Carlos Queiroz. He led Portugal to the second round of the 2010 World CupĀ before they were defeated by the eventual championsĀ Spain. Because of poor results in the games that would succeed, Queiroz was fired and the Federation hired ex-Sporting Clube de PortugalĀ coachĀ Paulo Bento.
