Condition of this vintage football jersey is 9/10 – Superb (see photos).


After a poor start to qualifying forĀ UEFA Euro 2004, McCarthy was replaced byĀ Brian KerrĀ but he also struggled to guide the side to the tournament or the followingĀ 2006 FIFA World CupĀ in Germany and was sacked in October 2005.Ā Kerr was replaced byĀ Steve StauntonĀ (assisted byĀ Bobby RobsonĀ in the position of "international football consultant") in January 2006.Ā 

Under Staunton, results varied widely but the team still failed to qualify forĀ UEFA Euro 2008Ā and Staunton lost the position in October 2007. His reign included a humiliating 5–2 defeat to Cyprus duringĀ UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying Group D, one of the worst defeats in the team's history.
