The condition of this original football jersey is 9/10 - Superb (see photos).

After a tough qualifying campaign, Russia were drawn in group A at Euro 2004, with hosts Portugal, Spain, and Greece. Russia were not among the favorites to progress and tournament preparations were hampered by injuries to defendersĀ Sergei IgnashevichĀ andĀ Victor Onopko.Ā Russia started their tournament against Spain but a late goal fromĀ Juan Carlos ValeronĀ put Russia on the brink of another group stage elimination.Ā 

Four days later, Russia became the first team officially eliminated after a 0-2 defeat to Portugal.Ā Their last match was largely a consolation but achieved a surprising victory over Greece withĀ Dmitri KirichenkoĀ scoring one of the fastest goals of the tournament.
