Official Adidas Real Madrid third football shirt from the 2008/09 season. Complete with original Champions League star ball & nine times European Cup winners patches on the sleeves.

The condition of this original football jersey is 8/10 - Excellent. One little faint dot mark on the lower front. A couple of small faint marks near the lower front hem. A little wear to the small 'climacool' motif near the lower hem. The wash / care labels have been removed from inside the garmentĀ (see photos).

Real Madrid won theĀ La LigaĀ title in 2007 for the first time in four years but Capello was sacked.Ā On 9 June 2007, Real played against ZaragozaĀ atĀ La Romareda. Zaragoza led Real 2–1 near the end of the match while Barcelona were also winning against Espanyol 2–1. A lateĀ Ruud van NistelrooyĀ equalizer followed by a last-minuteĀ RaĆŗl TamudoĀ goal sprang Real Madrid's title hopes back into their favour.

The title was won on 17 June, Real faced Mallorca at theĀ BernabĆ©u, whileĀ BarcelonaĀ andĀ Sevilla, the other title challengers, faced GimnĆ stic de TarragonaĀ andĀ VillarrealĀ respectively. At half time Real were 0–1 down, while Barcelona had surged ahead into a 0–3 lead in Tarragona; however, three goals in the last half-an-hour secured Real Madrid a 3–1 win and their first league title since 2003.Ā The first goal came fromĀ ReyesĀ who scored after a good work fromĀ HiguaĆ­n. An own goal followed by another goal from Reyes allowed Real to begin celebrating the title.
