This is Nike's superior 'player issue' version of the jersey. It features a slim fitting design, Reinforced rubber seams on the shoulders, heat bonded seams on the sleeves and lower hem, ventilation holes along the sides for increased temperature control, and a transfer international crest and manufacturer logo on the chest.

From August to September 2011, the team was ranked number 1 in theĀ FIFA World Rankings, thus becoming the second national football team, after Spain, to top the rankings without previously winning a World Cup.
