On 8 July 2023, Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain announced the signing of Lee on a 5-year contract running through 2028, becoming the first ever South Korean to play for the club. A transfer fee of €22 million euros was paid out to Mallorca after Lee passed his medical at the start of June.Â
