On 2 August 2015, Arsenal beat Chelsea 1–0 atĀ Wembley StadiumĀ to retain the Community Shield and earn their 14th Community Shield title. The season after their Community Shield win, Arsenal won yet another trophy as they claimed theĀ FA CupĀ for a record 13th time, defeating Chelsea 2–1 in theĀ finalĀ and once more becoming the outright leader in terms of FA Cups won.

The victory also saw ArsĆØne Wenger become the first manager in English football history to win seven FA Cups. However in that same season, Arsenal finished in fifth position in the league, the first time they had finished outside the top four since before Wenger arrived in 1996.
